The Traveling Trio has been awarded a 2012 Emmy® Award by the Lone Star Chapter of NATAS, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences was founded in 1955. It is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry.

NATAS recognizes excellence in television with the coveted Emmy® Award for News & Documentary, Sports, Daytime Entertainment, Daytime Creative Arts & Entertainment, Public & Community Service, Technology & Engineering, and Business & Financial Reporting.

We're very excited and humbled to receive this award! It's a great honor to have our series considered along with the many other wonderful children's programs.

Communicator Award The Traveling Trio was awarded a 2011 Communicator Award (Gold Award of Excellence) in the 17th annual competition. The Communicator Award is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals.

It is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Victoria's Secret, Wired, and Yahoo!

 
 

The Traveling Trio is a 2011 Parents' Choice Silver Award winner.

The Parents' Choice Awards is the nation's oldest nonprofit program created to recognize quality children's media. The program honors the best material for children: books, toys, music and storytelling, magazines, software, videogames, television and websites. Parents' Choice Foundation's panels of educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents and, yes, kids themselves, identify the very best products for children of different ages and backgrounds, and of varied skill and interest levels.

The Traveling Trio was awarded the 2011 Telly Award in the 32nd annual competition. The Telly Awards recognize the very best television commercials and programs from five continents.

Some of the winners from 2010 include Lost, The Office, Jeopardy!, Monsters vs. Aliens, The Simpsons, Oprah Winfrey, The Electric Company, Diana Krall and Hannah Montana.

Judges include executives from MTV, NBC Universal, Time Warner, CBS, Comcast, Fox and Microsoft to name a few.
 
 

The Traveling Trio was awarded a 2011 MarCom Award (Gold Award) by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs; provides judges; and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.

Since 1995, AMCP judges have earned a reputation for accuracy, fairness and credibility.

As part of its mission, the Association fosters and supports the efforts of marketing and communication professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations. Each year, the efforts of generous marketing and communication professionals are acknowledged through grants and special recognition.

The Traveling Trio was awarded a 2011 Pixie Award (gold) by the American Pixel Academy for our opening sequence animation.

The American Pixel Academy was founded by a coalition of professionals in the field of pixel media and connects them with educators to support our next generation of creative professionals.

In just a few years, the world of moving pixels has been magically transformed by highly innovative software and the people who create “pixel magic.” Ninety-two percent of all video productions now use Motion Graphics, Effects or Animation. The Pixie Award recognizes outstanding FX, motion graphics and animation in video productions.

Judging is done by top industry professionals, all of whom have won significant awards for their work.

Some of the winners from 2011 include Johnny Test (Cartoon Network), Buddha (PBS), GO! (PBS), Hush, Hush (Simon & Schuster) and others.

 
 
Parents Television Council Seal of Approval The Parents Television Council awarded their Seal of Approval to The Traveling Trio saying, "The Traveling Trio shows how such series OUGHT to be done – with enthusiastic, engaged children as hosts, lots of information and facts presented in easily digested (but not dumbed-down) doses, and kids having interesting experiences and fun."
